We had an amazing (and exhausting) time in Charleston for Jonathan and Virginia’s wedding. Between wedding festivities we took Lola to Palmetto Islands County Park. They had a great playground for her to run around, lots of woods for her to spot squirrels and birds, and picnic tables so we could have our peanut butter and jelly delights. She equally loved our hotel. I guess it was just being in a new place, but she ran around there like she was in a castle, loving every part of it.
The rehearsal dinner was beautiful and allowed us to spend some more time with family and friends. It was really special to have so many people travel that far to be with my brother and his fiancé on their big day. Now the wedding…that was…umm, well…gorgeous. As soon as I can get my hands on some photos I will post those also. A camera just didn’t seem appropriate for a bridesmaid to carry down the isle with her flowers.
